I don’t think this is what you mean: Opera…
Please be more specific on what you want to achieve. Googling around I found a lot of hits on ‘moodle + joomla’.
Same problem with Opera
This is more what I wanted to say
I have an email server, I have a Moodle server, I want a CMS like drupal or joomla … Is there anything that does it all in one ( and has cross platform clients )

Still not clear to me:
What do you mean by ‘crossplatform clients’ ?
Joomla/Drupal need a LAMP webserver to run (Linux Apache MySQL PHP). Moodle also needs a webserver.
openSUSE installer has a pattern ‘LAMP Webserver’. It installs all needed. You’d have to configure it from Yast.
Joomla/Drupal have very clear install instructions, it’s all done through any browser.
But that’s just some basic info, I’d need to know more about what you’re trying to achieve.
Sorry, I’m being as clear as mud
We have a email system, a moodle system and we need some sort of general web/intranet/cms system ( we currently have a fairly bog standard LAMP setup )
I was wondering if anything provides all of these in one package
As for the cross platform client bit, I mean a system that has a browser agnostic front end or similar

Well you have been given a couple of suggestions: joomla and drupal. You can find others if you search. Some will require additional modules, e.g. the Python based ones will need mod_python. I doubt if you will find everything in one webapp. Moodle is specialised towards course delivery and I doubt if you will find an equivalent inside an all-in-one. But why do you need to have it all-in-one? There’s no problem with a webserver serving multiple webapps.
Yes, I agree but I was thinking of the end user.
I don’t mind having a whole bunch of systems, individually
they are all pretty simple.
A system that is ‘all in one’ only has one learning
curve. It would offer a single user interface. At the
moment people have to get the hang of an email
interface, moodle is great but a bit quirky and a cms
is, as yet, a bit of an unknown.
I know this may sound stupid, and to techno savvy
people it’s difficult to get a handle on, but after
having the email system for 5 years, some users
still have trouble… The general users in my environment
have a lot more trouble with computers than is
generally recognised

What about relayouting your (web?)clients to make them all have the same basic layout and style and hiding all functionality from the users which is not needed in your specific use-case? This should increase user-friendliness by a huge amount.
So the different clients should just be adjusted to be consistent instead of merged into one. Finding an existing client software for a good price which perfectly fits your needs should be pretty hard.
Hehe, I read that as relay-outing.
Web apps these days are customisable to some extent with CSS. Having consistent colour rules would be a start, you could also adopt similar logos, and such. But there isn’t much you can do about program logic.
Perhaps you would be after offerings like zimbra or horde.
It’s a different kind of tyranny though, a combo app might force you to do thing a more cumbersome way.
