What are the right settings for recording Internet audio streams ? ?

Hi

In StreamTuner with these following settings I can play and record streams:
audacious2 %q
xterm -e streamripper %q

But for some mysterious reason in StreamTuner2, KStreamRipper, and StreamRipStar,
will not work with their default settings, so I put in the StreamTuner settings, and they still will not work at all, and the terminal opens briefly and then says “bye”.

Any ideas. Thanks
