What are the correct repositories?

I’m in the process of installing and configuring LEAP 15.2 beta, and I’ve run into some repository issues. My repositories are

The first issue is there used to be a Publishing/TeXLive repository for 15.1, and I can’t find it for 15.2. The second is that the list of community repositories is almost empty, and does not include packman. Last, I get out-of-date error messages on one of the standard repositories:

I am ignoring that. I sometimes see that message even for the current release. It seems to be just a check on timestamps. Until release time, the update repos are really being used, except for a few test updates in the main update repo.

It’s not just a warning message - nothing gets installed. Take whois: it’s just silently ignored.

I can’t comment on the particular install attempt, since I don’t know the details.

I see that warning message about out-of-date repo at every update (with 15.2). Yet it updates just fine.

FWIW, the URL for the LEAP 15.1 texlive repository was http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Publishing:/TeXLive/openSUSE_Leap_15.1/

I expect that they are already aware of them.

For past releases, most of those additional repos were not created until release time (give or take a week). Even the packman repos used to not be available until two or three weeks before release. I’m very happy that the packman folk are now providing the repos earlier. I would not worry about the others. If they are really essential to you, then you should be waiting for the official release before going to 15.2.

No. These repos get populated after the freeze of Leap 15.2 development. Before that, every change in any requirement of a package would trigger a rebuild of the packages in such repos. Just imagine what the impact on the buildservice would be. Most likely Texlive ( thousands of packages ) would be rebuilding constantly.

My thoughts as well. Ok, to test, but don’t expect the repo environment to be complete yet.
