i am just posting this to say a big well done and a thank you to all of those involved in the move. it has been hard work for you all involved and i, as well as many many others i’m sure, am very grateful for all your efforts. the forum looks great, and will be a great asset to helping newbies, as now there are more people in one place to ask for help.
Thanks for the kind comments Ross, and welcome to this new venture. We turn it on and hope people will come. I now see folks like you posting even before our “official” launch data of the 9th and I get the warm fuzzies that it’s going to be a great and robust community.
I have to give a thumbs up for the new forum, I like the skin myself - it’s quite clear and readable. I had some doubts how this would go at first but it’s looking good.
i think someone needs more faith in themselves ;)it is pretty clear that people are going to like this forum, so another well done and i look forward to using the forums more and more as more and more join from the old forums.
I came here form suseforums.net - and it’s not bad - still new though - will take me a while to get around the integration with the SUSE website though! one issue - if you register, you need a Novell account which want all your personal details - which I don’t want to give! Is there any room to fix this kind of thing?
Great job on the forums. It’ll be good to have the one central forum at the site where everything OpenSUSE is located instead of all the different forums. Again great job.

Sure. You can create a secondary account with any false details you want to use…the only caviat being that you have to use a real email address (just like the old forums).
