I just did a fresh install of Opensuse 11 Gnome. I have used linux for the past 6 months or so, and this is the first time I have installed opensuse. Well on my first boot up, I noticed there was something in the Trash. When I opened up the trash the file was Kalyway(10. something I can’t remember)IntelAmd.iso. After looking it up its was apparently a modified version of MacOSX for the intel processor. Has anyone seen this on there installs? I deleted it because it was no interest to me and it was like 3.7 gigs, but I just found it odd and am not sure where it came from. The install just finished like 20 mins ago. Thanks sorry If I posted this in the wrong forum, but it seemed to me like it should go into installs
The only kalyway I know of has something to do with a Mac
And you do not run a Mac it has nothing to do with you

The “Install/Boot/Login” forum is not a bad location, but that Title: Weird. That’s no so good. >:(
Can you try better than that next time? “Weird” is very general.
How about something like:
Title: Unexplained 3.7GB item in trash upon install
That would be much more helpful for those of us pursuing the various threads and trying to decide in which ones we should participate. In some of the old forums the mods would just go and change the Title, but with the NNTP interface we can not do that without causing our NNTP users problems. Hence it behooves our membership to try to have a more accurate and helpful summary Title.
Many thanks for your understanding.
It is not on any of the official installation media nor any repository, including the personal ones. Is it possible it was already on your machine? Did you download from a torrent; I wonder if there is another version being seeded out there?
It should have no effect on your machine, assuming it was what it claimed to be.
