Weird USB errors on boot

I have noticed that when I start my openSUSE 11.1 box with USB devices connected to it this appears during the boot process, I can tell when it is happening because boot process hangs on it,

any clue as to why it is doing it? It seems to be related to my Logitech QuickCam Communicate MP (which has a built in mic). Is there anything I need to do to fix this?

Can you disconnect the camera first and run the lsusb command. That will give you details on what’s installed on the usb ports/devices. You can run it before and after you connect the camera, to see if there are any conflicts. There is a conflict somewhere and maybe reinstalling the camera drivers will help. There are some good tutorials on opensuse on how to setup your camera. I hope it helps you. Good luck!

Here is lsusb without camera

Big-O:/home/vendion # lsusb

Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub

here it is with camera

Big-O:/home/vendion # lsusb
Bus 004 Device 007: ID 046d:09a1 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam Communicate MP/S5500
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

But the errors are still there at boot, and started before I had the Samsung printer so I know that is not causing it.

vendion, are you solved this problem?
I have the same ploblem with any usb devices.

Probably should start a new thread this one is over 2.5 years old. give more info on hardware and software
