Weird Error causes GnuCash to not start up!

I installed GnuCash and it was working but have since restarted the computer and it no longer works. I installed it via YAST on openSUSE 11.0, KDE. The error:

gnc.gui:ERROR:(gnc-icons.c:68):gnc_add_stock_icon_pair: assertion failed: (pixbuf1 && pixbuf2)

Any idea what’s causing this?

Take a look into this Debian bug report:

Looks for gnome libraries in /usr/lib32 at 32-bit system
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=495625#45

Maybe you are facing the same issue :-?

If that is the case, better report it to the package maintainer.

Nope. I made a soft link to /usr/lib - /usr/lib32 and it still throws the same error!

but thanks for finding that. :slight_smile:
