Hi,
After having some problems with the latest Ubuntu release, I decided to give openSUSE another chance. This time I managed to get flawlessly working everything I needed, and I’m very satisfied with this distro so far.
That said, I encountered a weird glitch in Compiz, specifically with its 3D Windows plugin. It’s not really a big deal, but it bugs me, so I might as well give it a shot and ask about it here.
With the 3D Windows activated, this is what I get:

Any idea of what causes this and how can I fix it? I’m using the latest NVIDIA propietary drivers. If you need me to post any additional info, I’ll be happy to comply.
Thanks in advance,
Carolina
I can’t tell if this is Gnome or KDE and you did not say.
Hi gogalthorp,
You’re right, I didn’t say. My bad. I’m using GNOME. Anything else I can share to help?

Hi Malcom,
It’s the latest stable release, 11.2, installed from the live GNOME CD, with all the updates applied. I found some threads about the same issue in different Linux forums, but most of the time updating to the latest Compiz version was suggested, and the questions about it were quite old.
I don’t believe openSUSE comes with an outdated version of Compiz, so I really don’t know what could be the problem.
I guess there’s no solution at the moment?
