Whether or not I log in at the prompt given, eventually KDE 4 tries to load. It takes a long time but eventually does(at least in fail safe).
I am not sure what other logs to look into to get more information, but does anyone have any idea how to solve this?
I have been trying to set up openldap client to connect to another box which is what I was doing before I shut down.
Could I just shut down Avahi? I do mount an EXT file system which is controlled via Samba, and I would like to get single signon in my LAN working.
