Glad to hear this, i have tried to use it under openSUSE 14.1 and 12.1 but without any results.
The last time it worked was back in 11.3. However, you can still start it manually via “yast2 webpin_package_search”. Whether this will work we’ll have to test in the future.
I know that there is someone working on revising it. But I can see it coming back in a future distro release.

I think it’s more a case of “if” and “when”. I can’t see it happening in the next version unless somebody steps up soon.
However, it was posted on the Factory mail list.
