i have no idea what “Cyberlink Youcam” does, but i do know that the
Linux version of Skype has the ability to edit camera settings…have
you tried that? go Skype Main Menu > Options > Video Devices, and (i
guess!) check to “Enable Skype Video” and “Start my video automatically
when I am in a call”…

and, there is a “Select webcam” setting…maybe you have the wrong one
selected??

and, there is a “Test” button so you can see how pretty you are

let us know how you get on…

oh! (still i don’t know what a “Cyberlink Youcam” is but i do remember
folks talking about “Cheese”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheese_(software)
i think it is in the standard openSUSE repos…but i can’t recommend it
(because i have not tried it)…

Friend dd…
There is no menu in my skype version…
It’s the “2.1 (Beta) for Linux” version !!
Generally I can’t edit my camera both for other use or for skype !!

highly unlikely!

easy steps:

  1. see http://susepaste.org/82537827

  2. click on the menu button marked in the SUSE Paste image

if you can’t see the menu button:
3. rearrange the app’s location on the screen so you can see it!!

if that does not work

  1. install Beta version 2.2.0.25, which is what i have and THEN you will
have a menu button (but, it was in exactly the same spot in earlier
    version!!)

when you can see the menu button:
5. see my first post

PROBLEM SOLVED !!!
Thanks a lot !!!
