Hello to everybody !!!
Im writing because i have a little problem to configure my Webcam.
Im using a notebook with an incorporated camera, the problem is that it seems to be detected ( lsusb here ):
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0402:5602 ALi Corp. Video Camera Controller
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 12d1:1001 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E620 USB Modem
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 093a:2510 Pixart Imaging, Inc. Hama Optical Mouse
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
… and configured in /dev/video0
In fact when I try to start using the camera ( like Skype or aMSN or using cheese ) the indicator of activity led brings on and seems to be work but quickly lights off and nothings happend, in cheese i see something like a Old TV Antenna difussion …
Apparently the camera its accessible because of the led … but i dont know how to continue the configuration.
Im running openSuse 11.2. Help would be appreciated!!
