Hi!
I’m new to openSUSE, but I’ve been using linux for a few years now (just the 'buntus and mint), but recently I’ve fallen in love with xfce, and I read in a few places that openSUSE is the best distro for it, so here I am!
Well, I’ve yet to actually get it working (hence I have a post in the technical section), but I thought it would only be polite to introduce myself before demanding technical help
So yeah - hi!
Welcome to the openSUSE Forums SilurainCrusader. I have no doubt that we’ll get your questions answered and on the road to xfce-bliss!

Hi there SilurianCrusader. I’ve had a few spins with Ubuntu & Kubuntu &
Mint and found them all to be pretty nice, except I get confused by the
latest Ubuntu (I mostly have used KDE).
Anyway, I hope you like it here and hope you get the right help.

Thanks guys! It’s always good to feel welcome
I’m still using xubuntu on my newer, faster machine which is my main computer. I figured I’d experiment on something less critical before taking the plunge - I heard the repositories and package system for openSUSE can be a bit tricky, and I’ve certainly grown very comfortable with synaptic and .deb files.
