I found the Waterfox browser 56.2.6 (64-bit) several months ago, super browser! The only problem I have is there is no Shockwave plugin when installed in opensuse Leap 15.0. On my test system with antix-17, there is a Shockwave plugin, so the problem appears to be an opensuse problem (in that Waterfox does not have a version for opensuse). I have spent the better of 2 weeks trying find a fix and searching the web for a solution to this problem. I realize that there is no official Waterfox application for opensuse, but I am hoping someone smarter than me (a very large group) can provide a solution to my problem.
Would that be the same as the flash plugin for firefox? You can find that on the packman repo.
I use Waterfox on both Tumbleweed and Leap 15 with the same plugins used by Firefox and have yet to find anything which does not work.

Yes same plugin but does not get installed into ‘addons’ plugins.

Waterfox works and plays some video content, but not all. When Flash is required, Shockwave must be in the 'Addons" plugins. I really need to find out how to get Shockwave into plugins. It is there on Firefox and Palemoon.

Firefox is going to drop/block Flash / Shockwave support from version 69. And both Flash and Shockwave are huge security risks.

Is there anything to take the place of Flash/Shockwave or will all the content requiring them not be accessible? I don’t to have to use Firefox instead of Waterfox.
The idea is that everyone should switch to using html5. Most sites have already made that change.

IMNSHO any site owner still using Flash or Shockwave endagers her/his visitors. Adobe years ago suggested site owners to move to other means.

Lots of Kudos to you. Thanks to you I now understand the situation.
