Warning message after update

I’m getting the following Konsole message at the end of rpm updates. As far as I can tell, the updates succeed, but can I get rid of the warnings?

“Problem occurred during or after installation or removal of packages:
Failed to cache rpm database (1)”

as root try running:

rpm --rebuilddb

Thanks Paul. It looks as if that worked ok. I’ll see what happens when the next update comes along.
