WANTED: old skool SuSE wallpaper

I remember the 9.2 and 9.3 wallpapers. I liked them a lot. I can’t seem to find them. I’m now running openSUSE 11.0 (GNOME) and I would like to use these wallpapers (esp. the blue one of the Alps with and without the square ‘bubble’ cubes).

Does anyone know where I can get them?

Hi
Google is your friend…

Or install gos-wallpapers: Good Old SUSE Wallpapers.

Thanks guys. They’re a big help, but I still can’t find the alpine scene with the glass ‘cubes’ on it. And I did spend around 30mins googling before I posted, btw.

do you mean this one The Rosenthal Photo Gallery - 9.3/suse9 1-default

Andy

Thx Andy, but no. The one I meant was:

The Rosenthal Photo Gallery - 9.3/suse9 1-blue-1600

It used to come with the blue cubes and no white banner (just SuSE logo) but I can’t seem to find it.

sudo zypper in gos-wallpapers

The wallpaper you want is suse9.1-default.png

No. That’s not the one.

Do you suffer from OCD?

Let us know if you find that wallpaper. One of these days I’ll go to the local used-book chain (Half-Price Books in Austin) to see if they have old Linux distros like that.
