Want to use mailer to post to the forum.

Hi.

I want to use my mailing program -Thunderbird- to write/read to/from the forum.

How can I establish that ?

Hi
It did, just change the email address for the account to;

Name: erikja
Email: erikja@no-mx.forums.opensuse.org

This will then update your post count etc with the forum software.

This will then update your post count etc with the forum software.

Or:

Name: Erik Jakobsen
Email: erikja@no-mx.forums.opensuse.org

This way it looks better on the nntp side, we see the real name
displayed (or a chosen name), instead of the alias.

From the “want online update” thread:

Please read the Terms and Conditions of these forums (preferable before you decide to join of course): https://forums.opensuse.org/faq.php?..#faq_novellgen

I repeat: You should have read that page before you decided to join here! How can you become a member of any community when you do not even know what the rules are?

I add: You should certainly have read it after you violenced it and was pointed to it!

And: You was pointed to it again by DD above and now you bothered to take a glance at it but no more then a glance.

I hope your memory did come back now. And I also hope that you understand that again refusing to read and understand it will be no excuse for anything you are doing here.

You may be a bit irritated by the frustration I show, but we try to help and guide you here in a friendly way, but when you reaction is that your memory failes on you, that is frustrating.

Not at all I’m irritated. Being it, the arrow should point on me
