Wallpapers not Saving

Hi everyone!

I’ve been having an issue every since I upgraded from leap 15.6 to Tumbleweed (KDE). My wallpapers won’t save. I can change my wallpaper for that session, but upon rebooting the computer or logging out, my wallpaper resets to its “default”.
Now, I put default in quotes, as it doesn’t default to an official OpenSUSE wallpaper, but rather a different wallpaper of mine. If I delete this wallpaper from the system, it will then simply change the wallpaper to the Opensuse default.

And, trying to apply anything like a slideshow simply does not save. Not sure why, but upon clicking apply, nothing happens. So I’m simply stuck with the same wallpaper, lol.

Has anyone else seen this issue, or maybe someone knows of a config to manually change wallpapers?

Where are your personal wallpapers located? If you use personal ones, they should be located in the standard wallpaper directory. If your personal wallpaper or directory is not available whilst boot (as example on another drive or partition) , the system tries to use another available one.

Another basic test in such cases is to test with a fresh user profile.
