I’m trying to set up Wake on Wireless Lan for my Think Pad T60 which has the intel 3945abg wireless adapter which supports the feature and there is even a post on their website on how to do this Windows XP, so I would like to do the same thing on my laptop running openSuse 11.2, but I haven’t found any documentation on how to set this up and I can not even see these properties for the wireless adapter.
I tried using ethtool to get the information, but when running for the wireless interface wlan0 I receive the error that there is no information for that interface, so I’m guessing it does not work for wireless adapters.
Any words on how to do this or if there are people working on adding the functionality?
I would like to have it so I can connect to my laptop from windows using NX which is faster than VNC and this way I can save energy by letting the computer in sleep mode and wake it up only when I need to use it.
