Wacom Touchscreen Stylus not working on random occasions

Hi,
i have a new Lenovo IdeaPad Flex and the Stylus that came with it works most of the times. But sometimes the Stylus does not work. I couldn’t find a specific event that could cause it but to get it working again i have to touch something on the desktop or the top bar. But this doesn’t work all the times. I noticed that it is getting worse the longer i use the Stylus and after some time i have to restart the laptop to get it working again.

The touchscreen is a Wacom and the Stylus show up as separate devices.

Any help is appreciated because i wasn’t able to find anything about that on Google.

I forgot to mention that i’m running Gnome with wayland. On Xorg the stylus didn’t work right away and i didn’t investigated it further.

I’m not sure if this is related, but I started having similar Wacom stylus problems (works ok, then after some time stops working, they something makes the stylus work again, until it again doesn’t) on Monday. The stylus had been working without any problems at least until middle of December (after that I didn’t use the stylus until last Monday). I’m using Tumbleweed, KDE and regular X on Lenovo Thinkpad x380 Yoga.
