VST Plugins not working in Reaper

Hey!

I’ve installed openSUSE Tumbleweed. Installed Linux native Reaper and I have Linux native VST plugins but Reaper won’t recognize it. They worked out of the box on Ubuntu and Regata OS and with an extra package on Nobara too.

What I might be missing? Do I have to install some packages?

Thank You!

Reaper is not available in any official openSUSE repo. So you need to explain where you get it from, how you installed it, what you have done and so on. The same applies for VST…

I’ve downloaded it from their official website, installed it using the terminal

When I was on Nobara (wich is Fedora based) I had to install a package because it was the same, that it didn’t recognize these plugins:
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/patrickl/libcurl-gnutls/
After installation, they worked.

The plugins are by the way drum plugins by Ugritone. They don’t say anything about Linux plugins on their site, but after purchasing you have Linux versions for download as well.

I think the same might be the problem here, because the plugins are Linux native, but they are not open source and free.

I just found this, but hadn’t had the time to try it out yet, I think this might be the solution:
https://software.opensuse.org/package/libcurl-gnutls4?fbclid=IwY2xjawGagAtleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHSIg_76hOA5o7X7ckmTnpBWyYImHbZ_0t21TkW573FIVLS0O3VNRbeP4Aw_aem_8hqNHTySxDo7iZDXjY-QvQ

The solution was the libcurl-gnutls4 package
