I have install a vsftpd 3.0.2 on opensuse 12.3 , and use pasv mode, when i trying to connect to the server, the authentication has successed, but when trying to list the files, the server shows 500 OOPS: priv_sock_get_int
here’s the screen output,

is there a reason you are doing it from the command line??
have you tried using a GUI FTP client to interact with the server?
you could, for example, connect with Dolphin…firefox has a slick
add-on named FireFTP, it works great…there are several other
ways…i think mc and emacs both have what it takes…
wellll…hmmmmm, is 12.3 the OS on the server or on your local
machine, or both?
by the way, you are not alone with that error message, here are over
200 notes on it on several different systems, so it does not appear
to be an openSUSE problem…(i would help you if i could, but i can
only read through those…so, you might as well…i have not looked
