I have a small network (15 pc). All of them are connected to a opensuse 11.1 which is also a vpn server (pptpd). I can connect from outside to the vpn server without a problem but i cannot access the internal network resources (for file and printer sharing, remote desktop, etc.) I can not even ping an internal network computer. So… that seems a routing problem. Is it? if yes… what am i doing wrong. (i`m using masquarade)
Can you connect from the server to any other machines in your network? are the files shared on the other machines? What do you use for sharing? Maybe using samba wyou could setup the sharing issue. also have you heard about no machine app for connecting remotely? NoMachine NX - Desktop Virtualization and Remote Access Management Software
Easy to setup and very secure(using the ssh protocol)
