Gnome v41.8 - Wayland

In the menu on the upper-right corner of the screen there is the option to open VPN connections. When clicking to open a VPN connection the system prompts for the root password. If I cancel out the VPN connection is still made. I have the network configured to connect before I log in because I’m on a SAMBA 4 domain.

It seems like the message shouldn’t be popping up but, if it should then the system should respect that I haven’t entered a password. One way or the other, please fix.
