Is it possible to get vp9 encoding under openSUSE. It was added in vpx 1.3 but openSUSE has 1.2. I have been able to compile vpx 1.3 from git but I would like it in ffmpeg.
You don’t even tell which version of openSUSE you aretalking about.
13.1, openSUSE 12.3 has vpx 1.1.
Vpx 1.3 appears to be in two repos, home:scalpel4k and home:tarkane, but can I trust them?
The source RPMs always provided. So, you can check the source files/codes via these source RPMs, if you wish to.
