Tuxmachines.org has a poll currently for choosing your favorite distro. So far Ubuntu has a lead (duh) but openSUSE has been second place till today I think (“Other” has a slight lead).
Just figured I post this here for any other susers that might be interested.
Sorry, I’m not much of a campaigner.

Not bad. We’ve pushed openSUSE up to second place by a feakin’ 1(one) vote!
But I think the results might be skewed, as there doesn’t seem to be any mechanism for keeping you from voting multiple times. Sounds Ubuntu-ish.
Voted for openSUSE
No zak89, I could not vote more than once!
I voted! Second place by 31 votes (over “Other”) and 107 (behind Ubuntus)

Wow, we’re a definite “second placer” now!
Ubuntu’s lead seems somewhat disproportionate, however…
However, considering the competition, I think openSUSE is doing very well.
To any one who hasn’t yet, <politician-style-rant>GET OUT THERE AND VOTE! LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD! YADA YADA YADA!</politician-style-rant>.
Hey, it just for fun…
On distrowatch, doing a 30 day listing for the page hit ranking puts
openSUSE barely above Ubuntu. It’s rare to see that.

Woo Hoo!
Competition is good on all levels; Microsoft and Apple and Linux, GM and Ford and Chrysler, American and Asian and European cars, etc.
