But isn’t the Poll about ‘Names’ really.
There is a correlation between the two, the name we are given and the post count, but that will always be the case, unless we change the whole methodology.
It’s neck and neck folks. Will swerdna’s Susers overtake the forces of conservatism and their old and worn out favourites? Just 3 votes in it.
Or will the dark horse (lizard?) ridden by chevyinasia be the swooper in the home straight to overrun swerdna’s susers and clip the evil status quo at the post!

I guess it’s not really that important John. A bit of fun really. It’s not closed yet though is it!
So long as we try and maintain the very best support we can according to our individual circumstances - That’s what users really need.
Some of us of course are old hands and had much under our belt from before the forums were amalgamated - Only to have our post count re-set to zero. So the post count doesn’t tell all.
I’m not really concerned. It all a bit of fun really. It’s quite interesting that the current tags were devised in fun to belittle/downgrade or bring to earth the concept of tags, to stop ppl getting confused about the importance of tags I suppose, and that seems to be working, and lightening the place up a bit.

So I must bow to the will of the people and declare that the tags remain unchanged until the next vote later this year (I’ll get rid of them yet!!).
Oh in interim, everyone could have a vote, and ideas for a more fun tag than “Global Moderator”.
That could be fun outlet for all that stifled creativity.
Somewhere I’ve made a promise to revisit the little green graphics that go near the avatars. That’s next – maybe in a week or so time. I think for the time being I’m over the naming thing now – need some time back in the cave relaxing with a keyboard and some code. mutter… mutter…
