Hello!
I’m running openSUSE 12.2 M3 (wasn’t sure whether to post this here or in Pre-Release/Beta, sorry with GNOME 3 and was having a weird problem with my volume keys. I’ve gone into Keyboard Settings -> “Shortcuts”, then “Sound and Media” and set the volume up, volume down, and volume mute keys to the correct keys (and openSUSE appears to recognize that they’ve been pressed), but when I press those keys the volume doesn’t change. I can go into the volume changer through GNOME and change it, but I can’t change it with my keyboard.
Any help would be appreciated,
Matthew
I moved your post to the pre-release/beta forum as anything to do with openSUSE 12.2 belongs here for now. I can say that if sound is working fine in openSUSE 12.1 and not in 12.2, you should consider positing a bug report on that issue.
Thank You,
