Im Newbe to linux and i just want to learn how to install VOIP server to try it
so please if somebody know good VOIP server just inform me and support me to install it

but as i told you im new and i have desire to establish VOIP in my local network. so give me advice which one is i can use " OPENSER , Astrisk. FREESWITCH…etc" also i dont know which one is good
if you can make comparision table
and how to install them

Asterisk is a well tested and widely used one.
Freeswitch has some advantages over Asterisk but still it is quite new and you may get more more help for Asterisk on the net.
I have only read about openser, so I can’t comment much.
I suggest you try out Asterisk first. It is quite powerful.
Just visit the site and if you need specific help, post the questions here.

I have Asterisk set up and running. But, my configuration is pretty high-end. I have ISDN-PRI channels and about 8 Asterisk servers in a distributed environment. I have done this set up quite some time back and hence, I may have to look up for details if you ask me detailed questions.

so please let us start from the installation step by step you will guide me through all the steps

(1) No email please. Also, I don’t come to chat rooms because of time issues.
(2) You have to have a plan first. What is the objective of the whole project?
(3) The exact environment. Machine configuration. Network details. Type of phone line connection (and the type of tepephony cards needed depends on this).
(4) Read the tutorial. Familiarize with dial-plans.
1- for emails no problem we have respect the privacy.
2- my object of the project is to learn the VOIP systems.
3- my environment is like you signature 100% but not like your experience.
4-where is this tutorial
and finally i just need some one to share his knowledge here in this good forum.
