Hello,
I have been trying to get VMC (Vodafone mobile connect) software to work with the Huawei K3765 on Opensuse 11.2.
I have installed linux version of VMC from Betavine but when I run VMC it doesn’t recognise the Huawei as a known device.
I asked for help on Betavine forum and was told “The kernel is not seeing the modem as such, only the internal memory and SIM card of the device.”
It was suggested I may need to upgrade kernel to 2.6.32-50.
Would this fix problem or has anyone gotten VMC to work with this dongle on Opensuse 11.2?
I am a complete NOOB so instructions will have to be very simple and clear, I am sorry.
The information as posted on Betavine thread is as follows:
