VMWare workstation - Unity mode

Hi Guys,

First post :slight_smile:

I have installed VMware workstation, which is working ok, however when I enter unity mode if I right click to bring up a menu it appears for about a second and then disappears, it shows a kind of greyed out box where the menu was and you can still click the items.

Opensuse 12.3 3.7.10-1.16-desktop
VMware Workstation 10.0

Any ideas? I have tried disabling graphics acceleration.

I have no idea but fussing around with Unity mode I realized I have access
to all my old Start Button menus that existed under Win 7 before I updraded.
LOL. That’s an interesting start button replacement. :wink:

It sounds like a bug in the presentation layer, are your video drivers up to
date? Are you using proprietary ones or OS provided?
