Why… Why in gods great name was it necessary that suse develops theyr own vmware tools ???
Can somebody explain me this ?

Actually, it’s not something the devs at openSUSE did.
Have a look here for more info on the project : Open Virtual Machine Tools
The idea is to make it easier seeing the tools are nativly implemented.
If you want to install VMWare’s original VMTools, you can still do so by first uninstalling the open vmware-* packages and then installing the desired package.

No… I can’t!
The deinstallation of this vmware packages just results in dependcy troubles
and the vmware-configure-tools are unable to compile the modules…
Useless development of unnecessary software => Waste of time and money.
And for what ? “easier seeing of the nativ implementation” What ?!
sounds like “I like to have my own stuff installed, even if its more worse…”
