I’m new to Linux so this will most likely be a stupid question but …
I’m trying to install VMware Server, all goes fine until the install reaches a point and the following message is displayed…
“Setup is unable to find the “make” program on your machine. Please make sure it is installed. Do you want to specify the location of this program by hand? [yes] no”
I’m not too sure what the make program does and I have even less idea where I can find it.
Just add it… it will be creating modules for VMware to work properly:
yast -i make
You may also need ‘gcc’ and ‘kernel-source’.
Good luck.
