Vmware 2.02

After up dating my kernel installing c compiler I get this

Redhats vmmon editing solution doesn’t work, nothing seems to work. Somebody Help. I need VMare server to work.

I get this when I try to configure although it is installed

For what it is worth I switched to VirtualBox rather then fight VMware server problem on the newest kernels.

I Understand that VMware Workstation seems to not have these problems. I suspect that eventually VMware will fix it’s free products, but they don’t seem to be in a hurry. If you must have only a VMware product right now I guess you need to but Workstation. If you just need a free VM try VirtualBox

I assume uninstall is rpm -e rpmname.

Also how do I import vms I already have to vmware workstation?

Can I use vmware workstation to create new vms?:stuck_out_tongue:

Have you tried the patch for vmware server in openSUSE 11.2?
Install VMware server 2.0.2 in openSUSE 11.2 64 bit
I don’t know if that’s relevant to you, but maybe?
