I’m newbie on OpenSuse, and I encounter the following problem:
I installed vlc, this operation was correct, then a few days later I wanted installed MyfreeTV. Encountering problems I backtracked, since that day, VLC no longer works Yet, if I install it works but as soon as I reboot it does not work, so at each session i must re-install vlc …strange attitude !!!.. someone have an idea of the case??

If you encounter the “VLC not working” situation, please open a terminal window (Such as Konsole or GNOME Terminatlr) and run VLC from there, simply by typing; vlc then observe any error messages that you may get and please copy paste those errors messages here.

VLC is not my choice of player. MPlayer/SMPlayer much better. But VLC must be from Packman

I unlocked the problem via the following command:
–reset-plugins-cache
Now my Vlc works
