VLC on fresh openSUSE 12.2

Just installed 12.2 and vlc but there seems to be something wrong with vlc since it doesn’t play the majority of files

[0x7f90360a9c98] main decoder error: corrupt module: /usr/lib64/vlc/plugins/codec/libavcodec_plugin.so
[0x7f90360a9c98] main decoder error: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `h264'. VLC probably does not support this sound or video format.

No idea why there seems to be a corrupt module, i reinstalled it but it didn’t help. I also have h642 codecs installed.

did you follow the guide here http://tinyurl.com/czx3jab, or the one
at the top of this multimedia forum, in a sticky named “Multimedia in
One Click”

the source of VLC is critical, it should be from packman, only.
