Hi,
I am new to Opensuse and Linux.
I have installed OpenSuse 13.1 and VLC 2.1.5.
Video is not displayed (only Audio) while playing MP4, MKV and AVi format. This message is displayed.

“VLC does not support the audio or video format “h264”. Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.”

Please help and explain me the commands in detail as I am new to this.

You’ll need vlc-codecs from Packman.

Please take a look here;
http://opensuse-guide.org/codecs.php

When it asks you to “Vendor Change” to Packman, please choose to do so.
