VLC Crashing

VLC is crashing at startup. I have no idea how to trouble shoot this. Any help is appreciated.

What video card and driver?

Run it in Konsole. Do you get any error messages?

vlc

And please post the versions of your vlc packages:

rpm -qa |grep vlc

and your repo list:

zypper lr -d

Every forum has quirks and I’m sure I have not done this properly. Perhaps some sort off tutorial would be helpful…

Btw, your problem seems to be that VLC is already running.
Try to kill it before starting it again. (Ctrl+ESC f.e.)

My problem was Opensuse, it is gone. Can’t be bothered.
