VLC Crash when using Hardware Acceleration

I get the following error when trying to enable Hardware Acceleration in VLC:

I have a GTX480, with proprietary nvidia driver 260.19.44 installed.

My current setup currently passes all of the MMCheck tests / checks.

I’m running OpenSUSE 11.4, KDE 4.6.0, VLC 1.1.7

Thank you,
Matt

This is experimental feature! Try installing vappi-tools and nvidia vdpau becuz I’m installed them and hardware acceleration working fine on GTS250.

I have both of those, and their respective 32-bit libraries, and I’m still getting the same error. :frowning: Thanks for the tip to double check though!
