all of my videos are playable in fedora and arch ubuntu vlc but in open suse tumbleweed i cant play any video only getting the audio and a black screen instead of video then i installed mpv and celuloid and that able to play all videos nicely
openSUSE does not include any encumbered codecs
You need to to switch to packman to get stuff that have patents or other encumbrances. See instruction at top of multi-media form
