Hi guys;
Im trying to figure out a relatively painless way to do this… everytime I’ve tried I’ve ended up unsynching my raid. Any idea’s?
Cheers

this . . . everytime I’ve tried . . .
Umm, could you be a bit more brief?
There are a number of possibilities. You need to describe in detail what you have done and what the result was (other than “not working”.) Also, please provide the system or mobo, chipset, drives, type of RAID - and, are you using a Windows driver to control (not just view) the array rather than the bios?
The chipset can be necessary data - the ICH9R (Southbridge) can be paired with an Intel Northbridge or another manufacturer’s, it can be a discrete device in addition to another chipset, or it can be embedded. You can get that info in Windows with a utility program like SiSoft Sandra or in linux by running as root:
lspci
My apologies
Chipset
Currently using the BIOS’s RAID chipset configured before boot w/ two 1TB HDD’s in RAID 0.
Again, my apologies and future thanks.
Cheers
Installing 11.0? From DVD? RAID type? Experience problem when/where/how? By “unsyncing” you mean breaking the array in the bios? - because what happened?
I would presume your issue is being unable to install on the array, but you still aren’t giving us much to go on. We don’t want to work on the wrong problem.
