Vista Broken in a strange way

Ok here is what happened:
I can boot Vista but it only goes up to the Vista Boot loader,
I have the choice between VIsta and Open Suse Installer
This is because I used the exe found inside the DVD.
Whenever I choose Vista or OpenSuse Installer, it creates a death loop, rebooting again and again into the VIsta Boot loader.
Naturally i thought i could solve this problem by editing boot.ini but Vista doesn’t have one…
Is there any way of removing th OpenSuse installer, which files should I delete and how can I remove OpenSuse Insatller from being an option in Vista Boot Loader?
This might help but I doubt it:

Good Luck

You need to clarify a bit more what is going on. You installed openSUSE on a machine running Vista. When you get to the bootloader that comes with openSUSE (GRUB), you are presented with two basic options: openSUSE and Vista. Correct so far?

If you choose openSUSE, it boots you into openSUSE no problem. But if you choose Vista, it boots you to the Vista bootloader. Do I have this right?

Where you lose me is the using the .exe on the DVD and the choosing Vista or openSUSE installer. I’m going to make a guess here, but you need to give us some clarity if it doesn’t address your situation. If you have installed Vista after openSUSE or attempted to restore the Vista bootloader, you are going to have problems because the Vista bootloader is set up to boot you into Vista and not share your computer with another OS. You need to install openSUSE, or at least repair the installation by installing the bootloader that comes with it, making Vista one of the options.

Also, try not to cloud the situation for the moment by introducing another linux distro into the picture. If you are planning to do a triple boot system, look at the wikis for help on how to go about this.

One thing to add is that if you restore the grub boot your linux partition that holds the boot folder needs to be set as the active boot partition. (Now it’s still set to Vista - e.g. /dev/hda1)
