With Suse 12.3, running the Gnome desktop, is there any way to get the date to appear beside the time at the top of the display?
For me, this is very useful and eliminating it from 12.3 is, I fear, a retrograde step.

For sure, gnome-tweak-tool… under Shell → Show date in clock.
You might also want to check out https://extensions.gnome.org/ if you
don’t already know about it.

Thank you both for your advice. I am now able to see the date alongside the time, so I am very happy!
When I first starting using Suse, the big advantage it had over MS was that the date was always visible, whereas in MS it was necessary to mouse over the time to get the date. I always forget the date, but need to constantly see it to add it into documents I work on, particularly invoices!
Interestingly, MS later chose to show the date, now its Gnome not doing so:(
