TLDR: Leap 16’s “release pipeline” for regular updates is broken since April 9th. So no updated rpms are published into https://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/16.0/repo/oss/.

However, at the same time, builds in OBS repositories such as VirtualBox and KDE are proceeding using updated (and unreleased!!!) openSSL, etc packages - that are “stuck” in that “release pipeline” - and then OBS repositories continue to publish these new rpms - which are unusable because no one can get hold of the required dependencies. Hence the issues everyone is having.

At at the same time, there has been absolutely no communication to Leap 16 users about this.

And the responses on the mailing list from SuSE people are, basically, yeah, so what, to put it mildly. Unbelievable.

I have not probed for ssh, and yes, you are right.
With the above libs, ssh is “broken”:

The reason why some extra apps are broken is described in the post before this one.

So wait until the updated openssl is in the OSS Repo.

Ach schade. Dann muss ich nun doch auch warten, weil ssh hier zu Hause für mich auch wichtiger ist.
Aber trotzdem danke an Sauerland für deine Mühe.

Repo wird gelöscht, Virtualbox funktioniert nach dem Update des OSS Repos wieder.

Bitte alle openssl Versionen wieder umstellen.

Leider gibt es wieder Probleme mit einem Update von Virtualbox. Soeben habe ich das Update auf die Version 7.2.8 (aus dem Virtualisierungsrepo) installiert. Da aber das Paket virtualbox-kmp-default nicht entsprechend aktualisiert wurde, funktioniert in Virtualbox keine VM mehr. Ich habe versucht, die Kernelmodule mit dem Skript aus /sbin/vboxconfig selbst zu bauen, dabei treten jedoch folgende Fehler auf:

Ja, installiere dir Virtualbox 7.2.6 aus dem OSS Repo.

Danke, hat geklappt. Ich wusste gar nicht, dass es Virtualbox jetzt auch im OSS-Repo gibt.
