I know the fairly straightforward and obvious answer to this question, but I wanted to get the peoples’ thoughts and feedback about it…
I need to use Windoze for general work and school reasons. There have been a few things, namely ActiveX controls, that I have been unable to port to Linux.
My question is: would it be better to use Windoze or Linux as the host OS, and why?
Thanks in advance… Obviously there’s a lot to consider in making this decision, like the amount of time involved, so i greatly appreciate the feedback!!

As far as I know the HP Pavillion don’t support Linux acpi (I may be
wrong), depending of what do you need to do is the answer, don’t forget
that the VBox video driver don’t work with all apps.
I would try GNU/Linux as host, if you don’t have time to loose and you
have it already installed and there is no sense in use Win as host of Win
