Virtualbox - Possible to go fullscreen??

I know that you can make it full screen, however it just makes the background OS’s background black, and still provides a smaller display. Is it possible to make the guest OS’s screen (or display) full size???

Thanks

-Cheers

Definitely!
But if your system is too slow, you might experience issues as you described.

The options are there because YES it is possible and works well.

You can also use the shortcut. The default one is : rightAlt+F

Is there a way to check through Vbox (not the guest OS) how much RAM I alotted it when I set it up (its been awhile)?

If not, whats the best way to go about it through VBOX? (I’m running ubuntu 10.4 and opensuse 11.3)?

-Cheers Thanks in advance

Sure - Click on the virtual machine in virtual box and in the details tab it will show you how much memory you have allocated under “Base Memory” under “System”

It also shows how much memory is allocated for the display. You may need
to increase this to get a full screen display (assuming you do have the
guest additions installed - if the guest is XP you may need to run the
installer twice)
