Virtual terminal in konsole broken (after recent update?) in 15.6

xterm works normally, but yakuake, konsole and other KDE programs display this kind of nonsense

Removing .bashrc .profile and .alias changed nothing

I am not sure what was the immediate cause at it started only after Wayland restart after Firefox had crashed it.

It is OK when I log in to Plasma as root. It is not OK when I do su in my konsole.

Konsole in superuser mode (through the start menu shortcut) works OK. When I sudo there into my user, it also works OK.

This looks like you screwed the font settings for konsole and co. It is no longer using a monospace font.
What are the font settings in systemsettings? This is the KDE Plasma standard:

Thanks, this really might be it. But I thought that I only increased font size? Clearly not, I already did notice that it looks slightly differently.
