i have installed and am using sun virtual box on opensuse 11. i created a windows xp installation with a 10gb partition, but now would like to resize the partition. Does anyone know how to do this?

I’m sure there is a way to do it (arguably properly) but an easier option
may be to create a new virtual disk and attach it to your existing virtual
machine as a secondary drive.

Yes that is what i have done now.that is all that i can do i suppose until i find another way.
It’s no different from a physical disk, except no fiddling with hardware. You have to copy the contents to a larger “disk”. VB doesn’t know anything about the disk structures of the guest OS so it can’t help you “expand” the “disk”.
