Virtual Box 2.0.6_OSE: How to switch to full screen?

Hi,

is there anyone experienced in using Virtual Box 2.0.6_OSE on OpenSUSE 11.1 (KDE 4.1.3)?
I desperately look for a way to enlarge the window containing the virtualised OS (Win XP) to full screen.
I have not found any settings in this application to modify the dimensions of virtualised OS’ window.

Thanks in advance for any help.

What does Right CRTL/F do? That is the documented (in the VBox manual)
way to get full screen. If that doesn’t work, it means that you need
to VBox Guest Additions installed. In that case, switch to the full
VBox version. There are rpm’s on the Sun website.

Thanks for your advice. I had already tried CTRL/R+F before but did not know that the screen resolution had to be modified in the OS itself and not in the settings of Virtual Box.

Is it not right Ctrl-L

Just wondering why you don’t update?

Indeed, the latest version of Virtualbox is now 3.0.2.

OSE editions are available from the OBS in Virtualization:Virtualbox
PUEL (closed-source) RPMs are on the Sun / virtualbox.org website.

If you install the guest additions into your guest OS you will find that full screen / resizing etc. happens dynamically.
