Virt-manager can't connect to Proxmox via Spice

Trying to connect to a Windows VM on a Proxmox host with Virt manager. I create the .vv file in Proxmox, but when I run it on OpenSUSE I get the error:

“Unsupported Graphic type: Spice”.

spice-gtk and virt-manager are both installed at the highest available version.

Any ideas please?

@KermitXYZ Spice support has been dropped from openSUSE.

Oh, OK, well that is why then!

But do you know why this is? I presume the alternative is VNC which as I understand it is inferior in terms of performance?
